Women's Health Physiotherapy

Nordic Balance Women’s Health Physiotherapy services include a range of specialised services entirely aimed at treating pre and post-natal issues including disorders of the pelvis and pelvic floor. From incontinence to prolapse, pelvic pain or constipation, physiotherapy can help to alleviate symptoms often caused by childbirth. All of our appointments are conducted by a female therapist.

Paediatric Osteopaphy

Paediatric Osteopathy is extremely gentle and works with the body’s natural mechanisms to restore health and solve the presenting issue. Paediatric Osteopath, Julieann uses her extensive knowledge of anatomy and its function to try to understand what's going at the root of the presenting issue. i.e. why the infant has colic, reflux or wind. It is a gentle, yet an intelligent course of treatment.

Lactation Consultation

Almost any breastfeeding issue can be improved with some work on positioning and baby’s latch. Going back to basics can help with a painful latch or with improving baby’s efficiency at getting milk during a feed. Our breastfeeding specialist can help you to understand your baby’s own feeding instincts to get a more comfortable and more effective latch.

Podiatry for Children

Suitable for toddler, children & teenagers. If your child is showing signs or symptoms of foot problems such ingrown toenails, walking or running pain, orthotics, verrucas, flat feet or if you are you concerned about your baby or toddler missing key developmental milestones when it comes to movement and walking we recommend that you make an appointment with our Paediatric Podiatrist. Book an initial assessment with our Podiatrist.

Cranial Osteopathy

Cranial Osteopathy can be particularly successful in treating infants who are unsettled, suffering from reflux, windy, unable to latch, born with misshapen heads and tongue tie, all of which often occur due to quick or prolonged labours & Caesarean. Focusing on the cranial, gentle head and body manipulation techniques are used to ease the trauma caused during difficult or long births.
